Spring is a season of emergence, and this year it brings with it a rich and deeply personal exhibiting calendar. From dark, atmospheric group shows to an intimate solo exhibition on the Gold Coast, the next two months offer many opportunities to experience new works in person. Tempest — The Brisbane Gallery
26 September – 7 November 2026
Tempest is an exhibition exploring dark, emotive, and atmospheric works — a theme that speaks to tension, turbulence, shadow, and intensity, and the emotional undercurrents that rise and fall within us.
I'm thrilled to have my painting Guardian of the Soul included in the collection. Inspired by the Egyptian deity Nehebkau, the work explores transformation through the tension between fear and protection, life and death. The woman with serpentine legs embodies an unsettling duality, blurring the line between protector and predator, and inviting viewers to sit with the discomfort of the unknown.

Recovered Futures 2026 — King George Square, Brisbane
9–14 October 2026
Presented during Queensland Mental Health Week by Richmond Fellowship Queensland, Recovered Futures showcases works by artists with lived experience of mental health challenges — a platform for shared stories that invite reflection, connection, and conversation.
This exhibition holds a very special place in my heart, as I get to exhibit alongside my son Jordan. I'll be showing my painting All Along You Were Blooming, and you can explore Jordan's work on Facebook.
