Commissions

I love working on commissioned pieces — whether it’s for a personal gift, a special occasion, or something meaningful to hang in your home or workplace. Over the years, I’ve created unique pieces for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, retirements, and even just because someone wanted something truly one-of-a-kind. If that sounds like you, let’s talk! I also offer Gift Cards if you’d like to give someone the gift of choosing their own special piece.

Every commission starts with a conversation where we’ll chat about the type of artwork you have in mind, the size, your favourite colours, and the vibe you’re after. We’ll also go over practical details like your budget and timeframe, so we’re on the same page right from the start.

Pricing for commissions is in line with the artworks you see on my website, with the final cost depending on size, detail, and how quickly you need it. To get started, I ask for a 50% deposit, which covers materials and the time spent shaping your ideas into a work of art. Throughout the process, I’ll send you progress photos so you can see your piece coming to life and make sure it’s heading in the right direction. Once the artwork is complete, I will send final photos and if you're happy with the result, final payment is made before the painting is shipped.

One of my favourite commissions was for Paul McIvor, the owner of Goldtower Central in Charters Towers. In 2021, Paul asked me to create a series of seven paintings telling the story of the town’s Gold Rush. Those paintings became the foundation for a massive mosaic mural — 80 metres long and 7 metres high! It was an incredible project, and I spent three months deep in research and another nine months painting. The final result was even shortlisted as a finalist in the 2024 Australian Street Art Awards. You can read more about the project below and see the original paintings I created.

If you’d like to chat about creating your own Trisha Lambi original, I’d love to hear from you — just send me an email and we can get started.

When I received an email from
Paul McIver, the owner of Goldtower Central, outlining his proposal for a
mosaic mural running the length of a new building he was constructing in
Charters Towers I was intrigued and not a little dubious. Read on to find out
how this visionary project came into being.........
