Studio News — July 2026

July is a busy month with my work included in the following exhibitions:

FORM & FLOW — THE BRISBANE GALLERY

Form & Flow explores the connection between the human form and the movement of water. Hosted by The Brisbane Gallery in Taringa, a venue renowned for its dynamic exhibition program showcasing outstanding local and national artists, this exhibition promises to be captivating.

The exhibition opens on Saturday, 4 July, with an opening event from 2:00–4:00 pm, and runs through to 8 August.

I’m delighted to have two works included in the exhibition:

• Kiss The Sky
• Lazy Dazy Crazy

BETWEEN HOME & HORIZON — COOROY BUTTER FACTORY

Between Home & Horizon invites audiences to rediscover the natural world just beyond their doorstep, from backyard ecosystems to sweeping coastlines and country vistas.

The Cooroy Butter Factory Art Centre is a community arts space in the heart of the Noosa Hinterland, well known as a place where the arts are accessible and dynamic — and I am looking forward to being a part of it.

The exhibition opens on Friday 3 July, with the opening event from 5:00–7:00 pm, and runs through to 2 August.

BRISBANE ROTARY ART SHOW

I’m delighted to share that It’s A Riot has been selected as a Gallery Finalist in the Brisbane Rotary Art Show, one of Queensland’s largest and most respected art prizes. The exhibition showcases outstanding work from artists across Australia and attracts thousands of visitors each year.

It will be held in the foyer of Central Plaza One in Brisbane’s CBD from 20th to 31st July, with the official Gala Opening on 21st July from 6:00–8:00 pm.
