I started this series of paintings back in 2012 with Forever Summer and I love coming back to it as it brings back beautiful memories of a family holiday on Fraser Island. It was in December and it was so hot but the kids had great fun tobogganing on the sand dunes. They're all grown now so it makes me nostalgic when I paint these scenes.
